Marcus Jablonka's picture

Marcus Jablonka is a Vice President at Cosella-Dorken Products, Inc., where he oversees research, development, production and implementation of high-performance and energy efficient products and building solutions for residential and commercial construction.

Mr. Jablonka, a specialist in plastics technology, graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Paderborn, Germany. He also holds a graduate degree in Business Economics and Administration from the University of Bochum, Germany. Prior to working at Cosella-Dorken in Canada, he held positions with the Institute for Plastics Technology (KTP) and with BASF in Germany, as well as with Borealis in Norway.

His expertise includes moisture control, building science, product development and manufacturing. He has been involved in extensive research on numerous building science topics related to a variety of building enclosure components. With his current role at Cosella-Dorken, his focus is on helping to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of commercial and residential buildings.

Mr. Jablonka contributes his expertise to a number of industry organizations. He is an active member of the Ontario Building Envelope Council and the ASTM E06 Committee on Performance of Buildings. He is also a member of the National Institute of Building Sciences and the Building Enclosure Technology and Environmental Council. Furthermore, he is a member of the Roof Consulting Institute, and currently serves as president of the Building Envelope Moisture Management Institute.
